My brother gave me a treat the other day. He was going off to university to continuc his studies and would not see me for some time, thus the treat.
We went to the local food stalls in town. We arrived there at about 9 p.m. There were a lot of people scated at the many open-ari tables. Most of the stalls were open. They were brightly lit with fluorescent lamps.
As we entered, a whole host of people appeared by our side trying to coax us to visit their stalls. We were offered seats everywhere. I had decided earlier that I wanted to eat a bowl of noodles, so I headed straight for my favourite noodle stall.
We sat at an empty tapty table and ordered uor noodles. Then we were engulfed by little voices all imporing us to order drinks from them. We ordered sugar-cane juice and the kids disappeared.
We ate our noodles and had our drinks. They were good. Then my brother paid for them.
On the way home we stopped at the fruit stall and ate some fruits. It was a wonderful treat.
